DARK OF THE MOON
By HOWARD RICHARDSON & WILLIAM BERNEY

A powerful fantasy in a setting of the Smokey Mountains of Appalachia. A witch boy tarries in a mountain community in love with a beautiful girl named Barbara Allen. The superstitious townspeople resent their happiness, and meddling ends in violence and tragedy.

Audition Note: "Dark of the Moon" is a play with music, so I'm also looking for singers and dancers for this show. The auditions will take place on the stage of the John Paul Theatre (just east of the gym) and will consist of cold-readings from the scripts.

TOBACCO ROAD
By JACK KIRKLAND
From the novel by Erskine Caldwell

The story of the Lester family of Tobacco Road – of Jeeter who dreams of planting a garden beside his ramshackle poor-white home, the idiotic son who marries a ravenous evangelist and drives an automobile to destruction, a daughter with strong sexual inclinations, and another who is sold into marriage for $7 and who keeps running back home.

Audition Note: The auditions will take place on the stage of the John Paul Theatre (just east of the gym) and will consist of cold-readings from the scripts.
