Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/Jan 28 – Feb 3, 2013
Jan 29; 11:30 am: Public Safety received a late report of several items taken from an
unsecured vehicle parked in the Overflow Lot. No further information is available.
Jan 30; 4:00 pm: Public Safety was notified of an intoxicated student. The incident was
referred for administrative review/action.
Jan 30; 8:55 pm: Public Safety documented the theft of a bicycle from a pole near the
Student Union. The small cable lock had been defeated. A review of the CCTV system
was negative.
Other:
Five medical incidents were reported during this period. One required medical transport.
One non-injury motor vehicle accident was reported during this period.
Reminder: Bicycles are to be locked at bike racks only; per MCCCD Policy.
Breatheeasy: A reminder that the District policy on tobacco products on campus has
been in effect since July 2012. Please visit the District website for information. The
Public Safety Department appreciates your cooperation regarding this policy.
Safety: Safety on our PC Campus is all of our concern and responsibility as involved
community partners. If you see activity that appears suspicious and/or destructive, call
Public Safety to report it: give the location, type of activity and descriptions of those
involved if possible. They may be committing a crime or just need assistance that we can
help with. The Safety Office phone is staffed 24/7. The number is 602-285-7254.
