Men's basketball had a great week. Wednesday night, the beat the previously undefeated South Mountain Community College Cougars 82-70! This broke a 20 game win streak giving the # 1 ranked Cougars their first loss this year. The Bears went on to defeat Pima Community College, Saturday 100-70! GO BEARS!
Baseball also had a successful opening weekend. After ironing out their kinks Friday night and falling to the Arizona State University Club Team, 5-4, they defeated the same team Saturday twice. The Bears started the double header Saturday but causing a run rule call of the game 12-0. The Bears went on to win the second game 2-1.
Women's basketball had a tough battle with the Cougars of SMCC Wednesday night. They lost that battle 65-64. The Bears also fell to the nationally ranked #3, Pima Aztecs, Saturday 96-64.
This week continues to rev up with softball starting their season at home Tuesday at 2:00pm with a double header versus Yavapai College.
