Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/June 25 – July1, 2012

June 20; 2:40 pm: Public Safety documented a late report of a student inappropriately
touching a staff member. The incident took place in April of this year. The staff member
thought it was probably a cultural issue but decided to have it documented in case it
happens again.

June 25; 3:10 pm: A late report was made to the Public Safety Office regarding a student
receiving a solicitation for prostitution off campus near 15 Avenue and Osborn at 12:30
in the afternoon. The Phoenix Police Department was contacted.

June 27; 7:00 am: A late report was made to the Safety Office regarding lost school keys.

June 28; 2:40 pm: A Campus Police Officer was contacted by staff regarding a missing
black medium size woman’s purse and contents from the area between the LC building
and the Cafeteria. A thorough search of the area was negative and a theft report was
made.

June 28; 3:30 pm: A burglary from vehicle report was taken by a Public Safety Officer
after a cart key was stolen from a cart parked by the LC building.

Other Activities

Two medical/injury reports were reported during this period; one requiring medical
transport to a nearby hospital.

One report of a minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the lower
parking garage.

Breatheeasy: A reminder that the District policy on tobacco products on campus is in
effect now. Please visit the District website for information.

Safety: Safety on our PC Campus is all of our concern and responsibility as involved
community partners. If you see activity that appears suspicious and/or destructive, call
Public Safety to report it: give the location, type of activity and descriptions of those
involved if possible. The Safety Office phone is staffed 24/7. The number is 602-285-
7254.

NOTE: Faculty members are encouraged to share the safety updates with their students.
