Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/Dec 10 – Dec 16, 2012
This was a very quiet week. Safety had 3 reported medical incidents. One involved a homeless individual that required emergency transport for a possible health issue. The other 2 incidents were accidents not requiring further treatment.

Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/Dec 3 – Dec 9, 2012
Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/Dec 3 – Dec 9, 2012
Dec 3; 11:30 am: Public Safety was contacted by a student and staff regarding an
assault that occurred earlier in the week off campus. The Phoenix Police responded and
documented the incident at the time of the occurrence. PC Safety staff was made aware of
the incident for information purposes.
Dec 3; 11:40 am: Public Safety was contacted by two students regarding a subject
harassing them over the past two months. The subject was contacted by officers and
given a trespass admonishment and escorted off campus. The subject is not currently
enrolled in any classes but indicated he plans to enroll in a class next semester. The
incident has been referred for administrative review/action at this time.
Dec 4; 9:40 am: Public Safety was contacted by a student reporting the theft of her cell
phone. An investigation was launched, an investigative lead was determined and the
phone was recovered. The victim did not wish to prosecute.
Dec 6; 11:35 am: Public Safety was contacted by staff regarding a subject disturbing in
the Music building. Upon Public Safety officer arrival it was determined that the subject
had been trespassed from campus earlier in the year. The subject was placed under arrest.
The Phoenix Police Department responded, the suspect was cited in lieu of detention and
released.
Dec 7; 12:00 pm: Public Safety was contacted by staff regarding a missing phone. The
phone was tracked off campus. It was determined that an employee had found the phone
in a campus building and returned it a short time later. No crime involved.
Dec 7; 12:15 pm: Public Safety was contacted regarding lost school property. The loss
was documented and the information was given to the Phoenix Police Department for
information purposes.
Other Activities
One medical incident was reported to Safety this week. The incident did not require
emergency transport.
No motor vehicle accidents were reported to Safety this week.

Nov. 26; 6:30 pm: Public Safety was contacted by a student reporting the theft of her cell
phone, which had been left for approximately five minutes unattended in the library. No
further information is available at this time.
Nov. 28; 11:40 am: Public Safety was contacted reference a fight near the “H” building.
The altercation was over prior to Safety Staff arrival. The two involved participants
were identified through investigation and subsequent admissions. The incident has been
referred for administrative review/action at this time.
Nov. 30; 8:30 am: Public Safety was contacted reference graffiti inside the “LC”
elevator. The graffiti was immediately removed. No further information is available at
this time.
